Mr. Kelly's experience as a lawyer, arbitrator and mediator has given him extensive insight into the problems faced by parties attempting a negotiated resolution of a dispute.

Mr. Kelly received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Victoria University at the University of Toronto, and a JD from the University of Toronto Law School. He was called to the bar in 1973
Certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation since 1992, he has practiced at all levels at Courts in Canada including the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mr. Kelly received advanced training in conflict resolution including mediation and negotiation at the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers.
He was designated a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1997 and Mr. Kelly was the founding chairperson of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Ontario Bar Association.
During his career, Mr. Kelly has been retained as a sole arbitrator, chairman of an arbitration tribunal and as counsel in numerous commercial arbitrations both domestic and international.
